See those huge round eyes on that cute round face of the slow loris? They help the little nocturnal primate navigate its way at night when it's most active. Sometimes you can see these guys in the daytime like how our photographer did when this portrait was shot but most of the time, you'd be hard-pressed to spot them in bright daylight. To perhaps increase your chances, you can make your way to wildlife sanctuaries such as Labuk Bay in Sandakan where you may see them roosting in the trees nearer to a trail.
